We are a gentle and natural skincare brand that ensures our all ingredients have one thing in common - they can be found in nature.
We prioritise and predominantly use Natural and Derived Natural ingredients in our products.
NATURAL AND WHAT
DOES IT MEAN
Our Natural ingredients can classed in 3 ways
Natural
Only physical processes or fermentation have been applied.
Example: Our Lavender oil, is refined to ensure it is clean and pure.
Derived Natural
The result of chemical processes of natural ingredients.
Example: Part of a natural product but has been extracted through the use of chemistry.
Natural Equal
Can be either pigments, minerals or preservatives. They are reproduced in the laboratory but are identical to that existing in nature.
The preservative ingredients we use in Little Dragon products are: Dehydroacetic Acid and Benzyl Alcohol, both of these ingredients are certified preservatives for natural products. Dehydroacetic Acid is found in nature through the flowers of the solandra species. Benzyl Alcohol is a component found in many pure essential oils and is also found in some fruits and teas.
